“Acqua e Farina” is not a classic pizzeria: it is characterized by unusual and nifty variants based on the standard ingredients of the highest quality. The pizzas are light and digestible, and the service very fast and always efficient. The whole atmosphere is youthful and cheerful.

To taste, without any doubt: rustic cakes, toast, melanzane (abuergines )alla parmigiana, Strufoloni (also with nutella), sformatini.

Pizzeria da Remo falls in the sort of pizzerias that is easy to find only in Testaccio or Trastevere: essential furniture,it looks like a cellar rather than a restaurant, paper tablecloths, tables piled on top of each other and fast service but at the same time not neglected.

As for the dishes, the menu is not well articulated because it is focused on classical friggitoria and pizzeria: suppli, courgette flowers and olive ascolane as appetizers, than pizzas (Typical of Rome, thinner than elsewhere in Italy) of all types including the famous Pizza Remo: a margherita with mushrooms, eggplant in oil and sausages, crostini as main course.

The speed of service, the goodness of the dishes and the low price (€ 15 for appetizer, pizza, dessert and drinks), make it an ideal place to taste the typical Roman Pizza. Many people from Rome go da Remo pre-cinema or post-theatre.
