At the same time the access to the centre is immediate: Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere is at 10 minutes walk through scala Righetto (Righetto stairs).  Moreover just on the opposite side of  the street there are botanical plants and statues of mythological figures as well as a holy copse at the Villa Sciarra which is a famous garden in Italy.  Piazza Garibaldi in the heart of Gianicolo is just 10 minutes walk away. From here it is possible to experience an amazing view of Rome (see relevant section).

The apartment is on the second floor of an old (recently restored) elegant residential building with  quiet neighborhood and in a very safe area.  Trastevere Saffi holiday apartment is ideal for people who love to explore the historical spots in Rome at daytime and enjoy the total silence at home during night time, you could actually hear the droplets of Roman fountain outside.
